NTT-DaTa – BlueGreen

t was a hard sunny day for NTTians. Thought the landing was a bit late by 10.30 AM. Everybody seemed to geared up for the work. A small group of 30 people had their breakfast and started planting around 80 saplings. Though it was sunny it was a great commitment. Since these are hot days watering was the main task. Apart from the sponsored saplings an selfless approach of watering other plants was well motivated by gopi and bharathi and others. Only with few minutes break they unknowingly deeply merged in the work had watered around 400 saplings overall.

Green Ambassador -BGS NPS and Pratham International School

t was a Saturday when their tutors decided to visit Brahmananda Vana at Misson campus. They were the so called Green Ambassadors of the School eco club from BGS National Public School. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm of the kids. Vijay and Rudresh took them along, sharing their knowledge on plants. Kids themselves showed their curiosity and filled the walk with number of questions which seemed to comply with Einstein’s words “Imagination is better than knowledge”. Their enthusiasm was nurtured with nutritious food. It was exponential when they stepped inside the lab.

Technical Co-operation for Service- Plantathon

It was a year back when Meera, Dhandapany later joined by Ramanath when searching for seeds and saplings landed up at Shivanahalli Mission. Credits to their incessant pursuation and motivating their team mates to take a sapling planting project at the Mission. True to that 120 employees from TCS, Bangalore arrived in 4 buses along with their Project Leads. Started off with an Chow Chow(known as concrete), all took to a walk after a short introduction into the relams of grandeur spawning an 80 acre Man Made forest created by the Mission. People were in a hurry as if some dealine is set.
